With support from Scottish Historic Building Trust @Custom House, Leith.
PERSEVERE was initially only meant to be an Exhibition but after the Scottish Historic Building Trust, offered their support we suddenly had the east wing of the Custom House, Leith. A Georgian Neoclassical building with multiple rooms to fill with our work.
So to fully use this venue we invited some fellow artists into the exhibition space to do one day residencies responding to our theme of persevere. People exploring the exhibitions many rooms could also witness the creative process in action.
The exhibition expanded to include residencies, workshops, performances happening alongside our moving image installations, poetry and photography.
